Dive underneath the sea to meet the rainbow fish, the little blue fish and the wise octopus in this thoughtful, magical tale. In the second of these two popular stories you'll join Max on his adventure to the strange land of wild creatures. After joining in with Max's crowning and the wild rumpus it will soon be time to head back home.
The Gruffalo plus The Bad Tempered Ladybird
Join the quick-witted mouse on his daring journey through the forest, helping him scare off predators with tales of the frightening ‘Gruffalo’. Then help the bad tempered ladybird realise that having friends will make him happy and that sharing can be fun!
The Prince and the Pauper
Mark Twain's well known Tudor tale explores what happens when a child from a castle swaps with a child from the slum. There is much humour to be had when Tom Canty and Prince Edward exchange their clothes and attempt to function in unfamiliar worlds. This story workshop is full of role play opportunities and lessons to be learnt about kindness and generosity.
A Caribbean Story
Explore the rich tapestry of the landscape, culture and traditions of St. Lucia through the delightful story of a child and her fisherman grandfather. Some environmental and ecological lessons are learnt as this fascinating Caribbean island is brought to life. Ideal for Black History Month celebrations.
Stories from Asia
Two tales from the great Indian literary works, the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, will transport your children to the ancient world of Gods and Goddesses, brave monkey kings, evil demons and wise Gurus. Your children will be captivated and inspired by the rescue of Sita by Rama, and the skill of Arjuna the archer. This is a perfect workshop to accompany your Diwali celebrations or topics such as Global Stories, World Tales and Asia.
Stories from Africa
The classic African Spider tale of ‘How Anansi Became King of All the Stories’, along with the timeless creation story of ‘How the Zebra Got His Stripes’ are brought to life in this colourful action- packed story workshop. Your children will revel in creating the muddy scene of a mango swamp and marvel as the cunning Anansi captures the fearsome Jaguar Osebo. This workshop is suitable for Black History Month and topics such as World Tales and Africa.
